A fabulous result for our U12 girls in a game that saw them dominate from start to end, despite having a couple of their regular squad missing. The majority of the game saw the ball in our attacking half. Chloe RS worked hard to feed the ball through to the forwards, selflessly passing it forwards to another team member, in a better position to score. The 1st goal was scored within a minute by Lily S, who took full advantage of Mt St Mary’s slow start. She went on to score the 4th goal just before full time too. Nancy S also had a great game, outwitting the opposition when on the attack and looking for the gaps when shooting at goal. Her hard work paid off, with her scoring the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Backs Lucy R, Olivia C and Fran F all worked well together, making challenges, tackling impressively and clearing the ball. Emma H and Hattie R also worked hard to try to increase our scoring tally, but were unsuccessful on this occasion. Mt St Mary’s put up more of a challenge in the second half, but our girls kept their head, going on to score their 3rd and 4th goals and worked hard to bring the ball back into the attacking end.
