It is always such a pleasure to see the girls enjoying their hockey, especially so on a beautiful November day. Terra Nova gave the girls a very good game and the teams were fairly evenly matched - two school used to playing on grass, putting in some fairly big grass hits! POM Elfie scored four fabulous goals! Goals come from a team effort, but today Elfie really did seem to know where the goal was and she capitalised on it. Clare T scored the other goal, a tribute to all her tireless work throughout the match.

With the absence of a couple of regular A players today, it gave a few of our other girls an opportunity to have a game and all stepped up to the mark. Gabby H, Issy F and Jess P made some great tackles. Goalie Imo C made some good saves, although she was never really under huge pressure. Thank you to Lulu J, who played very well and also last minute stepped up to the captain's role in the absence of Poppy S. We all wish Poppy well and a speedy recovery, we missed her! Thank you to all of our supporters for their tireless enthusiasm.
