Well done U13/12 Blues, you all really came up trumps today. Firstly you had the longest out of everybody to wait for your game. Secondly, you really raised your play and came back from being 0 - 2 down at half time to winning the match, impressive!

The conditions were cold when the girls hit the court, but their enthusiasm and energy were clearly apparent to all. Amelia M, our captain today, led her team by example, finding good spaces on the court and being particularly slick when we had a sideline throw in, finding good spaces on the court and freeing herself up for the pass. Emily also played with real confidence and assisted greatly with the flow of the ball into the D, she shot with determination. Vicky A was better at dodging and came in front of her player to receive the ball, she now needs some more shooting practice, but it was super to see her having a go today. Imogine H worked hard on court and was often on hand to snatch lose balls, whist Tikara H demonstrated better fitness on court and was really involved in this game. Gabby N timed her interceptions well, really getting it together in the second and third quarters. It was great to see Zara P back representing her school and she worked hard to secure rebounds under the post and mark the shots. Elsie R proved to be highly versatile, as GK for half a game and then scoring the third goal in the last quarter to take us into the lead. But player of the match today had to be Lydia, for her super passing, flexibility on court and strong attacking play, well done!

A great game of netball between two closely matched teams, well played everybody! we have Tent College at home next week, watch this space!
