U13A Girls Hockey team get off to a flying start!

Many congratulations to the U13A VII Hockey team for finishing in 2nd place to receive the silver medals at the Foremarke Hall Invitational Hockey 7 a side Tournament held on Saturday 10th September 2011.

The teams in this tournament were very experienced and S. Anselm’s really had to be strong and ready from the first match. To have such positive results against Bromsgrove, Belper Hockey Club, Cheadle, Foremarke and Beeston Hockey Club really shows that the team have played extremely well and as a strong unit. I would like to thank the girls for such an excellent start to the season with attending pre-season, conducting themselves in training brilliantly and for being such a great team to work with. The training and the tournament has certainly given the team the best start for the season ahead. Well done Girls!
