Player of the match – Millie C for awesome reactions in the deep, great stops and catches and pretty slick batting too!

HOORAY! The batting practices finally paid off! This game saw us once again fielding impressively, although in the first innings we were a little too slow at times to react to the balls, out in the deep. Everyone was fabulous in the second innings though, with some great catches and superb throws, resulting in stumps or lack of a full rounder, although they had looked certain.

Our big batters returned today though, with an awesome second batting innings in particular. Our girls were fast around the posts and really looked for the spaces in the field to hit into. Mrs Hinckley proved to be a very good target, out in the deep to take some photos, she had to move pretty rapidly out of the path of the outgoing ball on several occasions! Particular mention to Fleur, Poppy, Georgie, Millie, Nancy and Emily who all batted BIG in this game, well done girls.

Millie was on fire for this game fielding wise too, making some great stops, taking some super catches and at one stage making a catch, then stumping a player at 3^rd post for a double whammy, well done!

Let us keep up this batting form for the match next week against Terra Nova please girls. Well played you  all provided some great entertainment for the supporters today.
