A fabulous match, with our u13C team working their socks off! From the offset they looked focused, keen, determined and as if they played on astro 24/7. The stick work was impressive, the passing spot on and they developed their ability to let the ball do the work, throughout the game.

Our 1st goal was scored after 12 minutes by Gabby T, who skilfully managed to beat several defence before hitting the ball at goal. In the second half the girls developed the confidence to try more hits at goal from futher out. The goalie saved some and others were a little too wide, but eventually our perseverance paid off. Emma Hill picked up a superb cross from Freya Harcus, and slammed the ball across the goal, into the far left hand corner. Lily ensured it had crossed the line.

Foremarke also had their opportunities, but goalie Ellie W was on form, whilst backs Fran F and Jemima W did not shirk their duties, tackling impressively and distributing the ball effectively. It is hard to pick a POM for this match, as everyone did their bit, with Gabby T, Lily S and Emma H working extremely well together; but captain Freya H had the edge. Her work rate throughout the game was phenomenal and she literally ran her legs off to reach the balls.
