U9 v Birkdale Won 25-5

Another win but the team did not play to its full potential with too many missed tackles and also failing to keep their positions, discipline and running poor lines. The team led rather fortunately 15-5 at Half Time through tries from Angus E, James L and Ludo L, Birkdale were competing well for the ball and only their errors resulted in our scores. All of the boys tackled better in the second half and two further tries were scored by Hamish O'R and Ludo L. This was not a vintage performance but nevertheless a comfortable win. The team will have to raise their game, with a tough match against The Elm's on Wednesday, better tackling , more direct running and better shape is required.
