This was an end to end game fought out with great intensity. Unfortunately, the team with possession usually scored and turning over ball was S. Anselm’s chief weakness: the boys did not ruck or pick up ball from the back of a ruck. However, some of the players played with great verve – Henry Ludlam / Angus Edwards / Hamish O’ Rourke. The player of the match was without doubt Ludo Litchfield who played at a level well beyond his years. A bit more shape, better rucking and running onto the ball would help in future games.
Well done!
