U9B v Packwood Haugh Lost 40-10

This was many of the boys first experience of competitive rugby and each and every player performed with courage, skill and more importantly determination and endeavour. Packwood were a very skilful and well organised side with two very quick quick boys who given any space ran the length of the pitch. The more experienced players Henry T, Max W,George T & Barnaby set good examples to the younger boys tackling hard and running directly. The team improved markedly as the match progressed benefitting hugely from the coaching of Simon M (Gap Student) , this resulted in two excellent tries by George T & Max W. None of the players ever gave up and all of the Transition boys deserve mention for trying so hard Marcus K, Harry H, Oscar D & Sam W. Well done, you have learned a great deal from this marvelous opportunity.
