On the evening of Wednesday 6 October, Mr Weller took a small group of budding musicians to the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield to see a performance of the musical 'Viva Mexico' given by the Chesterfield Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
The show's musical director and conductor was Mr Marples, with Mrs Dobbin playing the violin in the orchestra, and Mrs Howland was one of the main characters on the stage.
It was a great experience for pupils to see their teachers in a different light and everyone enjoyed the show.
