What have the boarders been up to?

We felt many parents would like to know what the boarders and the handful of day children have been up to over the last few days. We have worked hard to ensure that school continues and so it has been all hands on deck. In the morning the children have received an excellent breakfast (fried eggs, cereal and toast this morning) and they have then raced out for an hour or so tobogganning, snow ball throwing and snowman building! After this, the children have received hour long lessons interspersed with lots of sports hall activities and so on. The evenings have been fun too, with board games being played and films being watched. The junior boy boarders are having "A Christmas Carol" read to them in the evening which is really getting them in the mood for Christmas. They have all been kept very busy and are having great fun together as well as getting the vital tuition that they should receive.

We have lots of day pupils who are boarding for the duration and they have been a great pleasure to have around too and have helped muck in. There is a real "Dunkirk Spirit" about the place and rest assured everyone is having a fabulous time and are happy and safe! Do phone Houseparents if you would like an update on how your children are doing.

We will let some the pictures speak for themselves!
