Making Kenyan Stew

Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Kenya this term. As a finale to the topic the children all enjoyed preparing and cooking a typical Kenyan stew called Irio. The smell of cooking cabbage and butter beans wafted through the Pre-Prep. At the end of the afternoon when the stew was cooked all the children enjoyed eating it. Some even came back for seconds!
