Yr 2 Seaside Assembly

As a finale to our seaside topic, Year 2 performed a delightful assembly comparing the seaside past and present. Mrs Wortley’s class travelled back 100 years and wore typical Victorian costumes whilst Miss Flack’s class dressed in clothes that would be worn at the seaside today.
The narrators confidently informed the audience on various aspects about the seaside with the rest of Year 2 enjoying acting out relevant scenes.
After going for a promenade, the year group rounded off the entertaining assembly with a slimy seaweed song.
