The S. Anselm’s community was treated to a spectacular Festival of Lessons and Carols to bring the Michaelmas Term to a close on Friday afternoon.
Gathering in All Saints’ Church, Bakewell, the audience enjoyed an excellent performance from the school’s choirs and an extraordinary rendition of Elizabeth Pearson’s Jesus Christ the Apple Tree, by our Parent Choir.
There were also several lessons read by Canon Tony and the Headteacher, Mr Thompson. Thank you very much to our Director of Music, Mark Percival, for organising such an outstanding performance.
