During the past few weeks, we have been busy working behind the scenes to prepare for our partial re-opening of the school. On Monday,15th June we will welcome Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children back to school. We have had lots of planning discussions, rearranged classrooms and prepared risk assessments to ensure both our pupils and staff experience the highest level of safety possible.

Outcomes have included placing pupils in bubbles with a limited number of adult contacts, new dropping off and pick up zones, a day punctuated with plenty of outdoor activity, corridor and classroom preparation, improved ventilation, new hand washing facilities, deep cleaning, the availability of a nurse on site each day and a planned fire practice for the first week of return. We are really looking forward to seeing the children again.

Throughout lockdown, we have prioritised regular communication with parents and pupils and we are proud to say our pupils have followed a varied and enriching timetable; encompassing a wide range of subjects such as Music, Maths, Coding, Science, PE, English, Languages, History and Geography. This has been achieved through both virtual learning and live lessons, with plenty of tutor support.

Parents have been sent all the information necessary to ensure everything goes smoothly for the year groups who will now be attending school.
