Friday 6th September saw the College host a welcome evening for all first year students (Kinder) and their families. The evening began in the Library where Kinder presented a slideshow to their parents on the highlights of their very first trip to Edale, where they took part in a range of activities including spotting wildlife on a guided walk along the Pennine Way, harvesting blackberries and even taking a dip in the stream!
Guests then moved on to the Head’s Lawn to enjoy a barbecue and drinks reception. The rain held off for the occasion as parents and children had the opportunity to mingle and meet College staff to talk about the exciting year ahead.
