The annual College vs Prep school cricket match took place; albeit a little bit behind the calendar date.
For the first time both a boys and girls squad were selected to contest for the Shepherd Trophy with the combined run total winning the competition. In the girls match the Prep School XI almost went to a ‘super’ over but the College missed out by 4 runs. The College boys comprehensively defeated the Prep School with our Sports Scholars M. Collins and H. Holmes scoring 40 runs in 12 balls to bring their innings score to 140! Taken both scores into account the 2020 Shepherd Trophy was won by the College.
