On Saturday, all pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8 participated in the second event of the Critchlow Running Series, The Aquathon.
Everyone had a great afternoon and it was lovely to see pupils’ smiling faces as they finished each length of the pool or lap of the grounds. In 90 minutes they ran over 320km run and swam 20km, an absolute superb effort – even more so when you consider that distance would be able to get them down to Dover in Kent and across the Channel to Calais.
A huge well done to everyone for taking part.
After half term the next event in the Critchlow Running Series is the wonderful Mud run and we hope pupils will endeavour to remember that it is not a contest on who can get their kit the dirtiest!
