Congratulations to our Under 11B girls who played their first hockey match last Wednesday, at home against The Old Vicarage School. It was a closely contested game with the final score being 5 – 4 to S. Anselm’s!
The goal scorers were: Kitty x3, Isobel x1 and Tiggy x1; with player of the match being Elizabeth, for her great ball carrying skills and for setting up most of the goals with her passes into the D.
Well played everyone and our thanks to parents for their much valued support.
The match was followed by a superb match tea both for parents and players, with both teams enjoying a really good chat with the opposition, as the photos show!
