Year 5 stepped back in time to the age of Queen Victoria and experienced what it was like to be school children in the 1900s when they visited Blists Hill Victorian Town, part of the Iron Bridge Gorge Museums. As well as experiencing lessons in a Victorian school room, they were met by some (almost) real Victorians in their authentic shops and cottages, reveled in curious goods from the era and watched tradespeople in action in their atmospheric workshops and factories. It was an intriguing insight into Victorian life.
Mrs Baynes and Mrs Wragg enjoyed playing their parts too!
