The Saturday shoppers of Bakewell were treated to a wonderful morning of carolling from the S. Anselm’s Chapel Choir. With renditions of the old favourites in the heart of Bakewell and in the Pudding Shop, the pupils created a joyous atmosphere and put their captivated audience into a Christmassy mood.
Over £55 was collected for Helen’s Trust in donations kindly given by the public. We’d like to thank Mr & Mrs Beagrie for hosting the choir in their Pudding Shop and for generously giving all our singers a delicious hot chocolate, which was gladly received after being out in the frosty weather.
A big thank you also goes to our Director of Music, Mr Percival, for organising this event every year, which is very much enjoyed by the public of Bakewell.
