The Christmas festivities at S. Anselm’s commenced with the Christmas Fair on the 1st of December.  A great time was had by parents, pupils and staff alike and a lot of festive food was consumed. The Year 8 pupils manned the stalls and each house donated the money raised through sales to their chosen charity.

The totals raised are as follows:

The charitable donations from this event totalled a massive £944.30. Thank you to the staff who worked tirelessly to organise such a great event, the pupils for attending the stalls so brilliantly and to the parents for supporting the Fair.

The pupils had a further fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital on Monday with Christmas Jumper Day. The whole school embraced the theme, donned their Christmas jumpers and made the day a great success. It was a great way to kick off the last week of the Michaelmas Term!

The final weeks of term are fun and celebratory ones with so many festive events, but also reflective and charitable. Thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts so far and given so generously to our chosen charities.
