The College Prize Giving and Meal was a memorable evening, held at The Maynard in Grindleford, with the maximum capacity of 70 guests, comprising our students and their families, in attendance. There were outstanding speeches from the Head Girl and Head Boy, Emily and Alec, and lovely, warm accounts from Mr Hearne for each Year 11 student.
Mr Thompson gave a considered and poignant account of the year, with particular focus on the Year 11 leavers and thanks to all College parents for their support for their children during remote learning.
Prizes were awarded to Will B and Molly N for receiving the best exam results in their respective years.
Thank you to all the pupils, family and staff who attended, as it truly was a wonderful evening.
