Year 4 had a fascinating (and somewhat gloopy) time in their science lessons this week, investigating the characteristics of solids, liquids and gases and changes in state. They children had fun mixing cornflour and water and observing what happens when they are stirred together. The children loved sharing their thoughts and learning about how cornflour behaves as a solid and then as a liquid when mixed with water.
