Congratulations to Annabelle and Ruby, who both played their first matches of the new hockey season for Derbyshire at the weekend.
Annabelle played for the U14 squad, away at Solihull, with her team being undefeated in their matches against Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Shropshire.
Ruby played for the U13 squad, away at Nottinghamshire and her squad were also undefeated in their inter-county matches.
Both girls have been training with the Derbyshire squad since September and really enjoyed the opportunity to play in the first inter-county tournament since lockdown was eased.
