Congratulations to Emelia in Year 8 who was awarded a coveted Distinction in her Grade 7 ABRSM Singing examination, with 134 marks.
Emelia is Head Chorister in the S. Anselm’s Chapel Choir, and sings regular solos with the choir, which recently completed a choral tour of Jersey. She studies singing under Nicola Hunt, the renowned mezzo soprano and Head of Singing at S. Anselm’s. A talented all round musician, Emelia is also studying for her Grade 6 French Horn and Grade 7 Double Bass and performs with the Royal Northern School of Music Junior Chamber Orchestra, with which she rehearses each weekend.
