At the end of Year 8, Emma set herself the challenge of learning GCSE French in her own time.  Emma’s aim is to sit the official higher Level GCSE exam at the end of Year 9 (Kinder), which is no mean feat.  After lots of work on her spoken French over the summer with her mother, Emma sat a practice Higher Level reading paper this weekend at home.  To add a dose of healthy competition, Emma’s father also agreed to sit the same paper in test conditions (both achieving very highly in a very close contest!).

Mrs Lacey and Miss Blackbourn have both been supporting Emma with this challenge and we wish her continued luck and success with her French this year.  Fingers crossed for a great GCSE result this summer Emma!
