Last week, all pupils in the Prep School took part in celebrating the European Day of Languages. The focus of the day was to broaden horizons and promote the enjoyment of language learning.

The pupils enjoyed sharing their different cultures with one another and gained a greater perspective on the European continent. Each pupil came wearing something which symbolised a different European country. There were, English, Scottish, French, Finnish, Dutch and Ukrainian, just to name a few.

After an assembly about languages, the pupils enjoyed a fantastic performance of Toreador from our singing teacher and professional singer, Nichola Hunt. She got everyone singing in French

Afterwards, everybody had an amazing European-style lunch, including paella, baguette, patatas bravas and crêpes. A massive thank you goes to Mrs Connell and her team for putting on such a spread.
