On Monday the Y8s will be in school all day taking part in a filming and editing challenge. This will involve some camera crews and a camera drone operating around the school. Please do not be alarmed if you see a drone flying low across the school!
Our Year 8s were hard at work filming throughout the day on Monday, as part of a filming and editing challenge. This involved lots of planning as the pupils had to think about what they were filming, as well as how they were lighting and framing each shot. Some teams were filming action shots, others filmed in classrooms or prepared for interviews or scripted links.
Throughout the day, a dedicated editing team also worked hard to give feedback on the footage they received and made a start on trimming and sequencing the final video.
Well done Year 8 for conducting on a very successful day of filming. We look forward to seeing the finished result!
