The sun shone once again for our boarders’ Sunday activities and they were able to hit the Monsal Trail cycle track – always a firm favourite with iconic Peak District scenery to admire – without worrying about being soaked.
The boarders cycled through the tunnels to the Headstone viaduct that crosses the River Wye and were able to watch people competing in the annual cycle hill race. After cycling back to the Hassop cafe there was time for some tasty refreshments (of course!) before heading back to school.
In the afternoon, Mr Watkin-Holmes introduced everyone to the joy of musicals in his musical mayhem activity, and great fun was had by all.
After another delicious roast supper, it was time to relax before an early night, after another busy and action-packed day!
