Last week we held an afternoon tea event for the grandparents of S. Anselm’s pupils. It was hugely successful with nearly 60 grandparents attending.
The library looked lovely with flower arrangements on each table and our visitors were very appreciative of the delicious cakes and sandwiches provided by our catering team.
The pupils performed choral and instrumental music and the visitors also enjoyed hearing some solo pieces. We heard a beautiful harp solo and a Grade 5 singing piece from Georgie along with Elspeth’s Grade 4 piano piece, Kabalevsky in A minor.
We are also very pleased to announce that a total of £225.70 was raised during the afternoon for the Ukraine Bursary Fund, thanks to the generosity of the S. Anselm’s grandparents.
