The whole school processed down the hill to All Saints Church, Bakewell, holding their donations of food and toiletries on Monday morning, to give thanks for the harvest and all God’s gifts. Everyone was given a seed to hold to help us reflect on the life waiting to burst forth and that each of our lives is precious and special, beyond price.

It was an inspiring service led by our school chaplain, Canon Tony.  Our readers, Angus, Abbey, Morgan, Archie, Bob and Georgina read very well and we were treated to music from the Chapel Choir (All things bright and beautiful), Junior Choir (Hush a bye and Benedictus Benedicat), and the College Choir (Pastime with good company, what a truly wonderful way to start the week).

Thank you to all the pupils who brought in harvest gifts and to the parents who joined us for our service.
