There was a lot to celebrate in Junior Forms assembly with Bronze and Silver Reading certificates awarded, Year 5 pupils being presented with the results of their ESB Examinations and Alice and Nuala treating everyone to some wonderful music on the harp and the piano.
Time was spent looking at the different festivals that are happening at this time of year such as Thanksgiving, Diwali and Hanukkah. The children found out a little more about each festival and were set the challenge of thinking of some ways they would like to celebrate the lead up to the Christmas at school. With things being a little different this year, it seemed the perfect opportunity to explore lots of new ideas.
The assembly concluded by congratulating ‘Churchills House’ who achieved the most house points in the previous week.
