The entire Prep School and our Year 2 Pre-Prep children headed into Sheffield on Friday afternoon – as is our tradition – to the glittering lights of the Lyceum Theatre and the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ Pantomime.

S. Anselm’s occupied a significant proportion of the stalls and all the children looked smartly dressed and were great ambassadors for our school.

Everyone was ready to immerse themselves in the pantomime spirit after last year’s cancellations, and the children (and teachers) got swept into their roles of booing, catcalling Margi Clarke as the pantomime villain and gamely responding “Can’t hear it” and “Say it again louder” – as well as participating heartily in the competitive sing song at the end.

Even our coaches were glistening with tinsel and fairy lights!
