Year 3 have certainly returned to school eager to learn and they delighted in showing each other the posters they made in the Easter holidays. Each pupil then gave a presentation outlining all the different ways in which the Ancient Egyptians used bees, wax and honey in their everyday lives. They were, in fact, expert bee keepers!
After each talk, we commented on the poster, the presentation and noted any new facts we had learned from each other. The children were so inspired that they even used our first Coding lesson to create a Lego bee and programmed it to ‘fly’ and ‘buzz’ whilst pollinating Lego flowers.
A fabulous way to start the term!
