Some of our Saturday School pupils enjoyed morning activities incorporating the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch at the weekend. They made models of birds’ nests in design technology, studied food chains in their science lesson and dedicated an hour to spotting, identifying and recording which of our avian friends paid a visit to our school grounds. Conservation is very important to everyone at S. Anselm’s and so the children were keen to support this activity and submit their results to the RSPB.
