Huge congratulations to Daisy and Miss Sky who qualified on Saturday at Eland Lodge for the Hickstead Grassroots Spring Festival at 70cm. The pair flew round the course and were pipped by fractions of a second into third place, securing their place at the National finals. They then continued their flying form by coming 2nd in the 75cm
The following day were the qualifying rounds for the ultimate prize of competing at the NSEA Hickstead Elite Festival and entries were from all over the Midlands and beyond
Only the first placed rider was to qualify and therefore this position was hotly fought over.
Arabella L and Jazz used the 70cm as their warm-up round as made a school-girl error of jumping the incorrect course; Daisy D continued her form from the Saturday and came home in 2nd place.
Both girls then competed at 80cm, which was big and challenging course; they rode extremely well and both went clear with Arabella and Jazz in 6th place and Daisy and Miss Sky in 7th
