Students at S. Anselm’s College wowed parents and other visitors with the quality of their artwork during a recent Art Evening held in the school’s library.

A fantastic display of prints, paintings and textiles created by all three College year groups took centre stage in the library as visitors were given the opportunity to view the work and chat to our young artists. Guests were then invited into Hargreaves Hall to enjoy a selection of  performances from the talented pupils including the College Choir and Rock Band, singing and piano solos and a captivating drama performance.

Head of S. Anselm’s College, James Mortimer, said: “The art display this year was exceptional. I’m very proud of how much effort students have put in to their artwork, which for the older year groups has been an important part of their GCSE syllabus. The Art Evening is always well attended at the school and I am certain this year, parents and other visitors were certainly not disappointed.” An album of the evening can be viewed HERE.
