On Friday we held our Remembrance Service on the Head’s Lawn. A beautiful service of readings, hymns and remembering those brave men who fell serving our country, who were once part of the S. Anselm’s family. Well done to all the children who read so beautifully.
Year 1 enjoyed making a big class poppy, learning about why we celebrate Remembrance Day and then observing a 2 minute silence in the nursery garden. Year 2 created poppy wreaths after their history lesson.
