As always, our boarders enjoyed an action packed weekend. The fun swim session after Saturday games was as popular as always, burning off excess energy and meaning the children were ready to relax into their Saturday film and treat night.
On Sunday the weather was perfect for the boarders’ offsite activity – a cycle ride along the beautiful Monsal Trail – passing through the old railway tunnels and emerging into the sunshine to admire the magnificent views. Everyone was ready for a cooling ice lolly at the end. Back at school, an art and craft session made for a lovely afternoon and the day was rounded off perfectly with a tasty roast lamb supper.
