The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement yesterday during the school’s annual House Shout competition, as children from all four Houses competed in an exhilarating singing competition.
First, each group enthusiastically sang ‘Go Fly a Kite’ in their own individual style. Members of the audience were then captivated as each group dressed up in a range of fantastic outfits and performed a song of their own choosing; ‘This is Me’ by Nelsons, ‘Happy’ by Churchills, ‘I’m Still Standing’ by Wellingtons and ‘I Need a Hero’ by Pitts. We were privileged to welcome Mr Craig Greene, Director of Music from Stowe School as the official adjudicator, who crowned Wellingtons as the overall winners for their “Excellent vocals, great use of harmony and polished performance.”
