We are delighted at our pupils’ entries in the recent Tiger Drawing competition organised by the Confucius Institute, Sheffield University.
Twenty-five schools and one art club in Yorkshire & Derbyshire took part in the annual drawing competition to celebrate the Chinese Year, which this year is the Year of the Tiger. Schools were invited to submit original artwork, created as drawing or painting by hand, using water-soluble, pastel, graphite, charcoal or coloured pencils.
Our pupils submitted some wonderful pieces of art, earning in-school category prizes as follows: in the KS2 lower category included: Rex (first place), Rita (second place) & Caleb (third place), and in the KS2 upper category: Libby (first place), Darci (second place) and Tiggy (third place). Congratulations to each of them!
Each of the winners will receive an Amazon gift voucher.
