S. Anselm’s celebrated an exciting programme of activities for World Book Day, beginning with a treasure hunt held during Form Time, a special literary themed lunch, and a visit from children’s author and performance storyteller, Sophie Snell.  At different points during the day, the school bell rang out, signalling five minutes of impromptu ‘Drop Everything and Read’ time.

Children (and staff!) in the Pre-Prep and Prep School dressed for the day as their favourite story book characters, and their costumes certainly brought some colour to the rather grey day!

Funds raised during the day will be donationed to Book Trust, helping to support children’s reading across the UK.
