Our young buccaneers hopped aboard their self-styled pirate vessel and headed off on many an adventure last week. Pirate Pete left clues for a treasure hunt around the school grounds where the Nursery crew were delighted to discover chocolate coins where ‘x’ marked the spot. The ship’s cooks mixed up an interesting quicksand dough which had a delightful coconut fragrance and we all enjoyed singing a few pirate songs complete with very enthusiastic pirate jargon. Aharr!
