Louise Flack

Louise Flack, Head of Junior Forms, has been a valued member of S. Anselm’s for more than two decades. Since joining the school over 24 years ago, she has brought energy, creativity and unwavering dedication to every role she has undertaken.

Louise completed her B.Ed (Hons) in 1996, specialising in Art and Physical Education. From an early age, she knew she wanted to teach and chose a degree that combined academic study with hands-on classroom experience – an approach she has always been grateful for.

Over her time at S. Anselm’s, Louise has taught pupils across all age groups and held a variety of significant leadership responsibilities. These have included serving as Head of Pastoral Care and PSHE, developing the school’s STEM curriculum, establishing the Pupil Council to support the pupil voice and enhancing the House System. She has also organised a wide range of themed events that have strengthened the school community and deepened local connections.

With almost 30 years of full-time teaching experience across both the independent and state sectors, Louise has taught a broad range of age groups. In her Year 3 classroom, she strives to create a happy, safe and inspiring environment where children feel confident, curious and excited about their learning. Her philosophy is grounded in high standards, clear expectations and a nurturing, supportive approach.

Louise is passionate about the school’s distinctive family atmosphere, which she believes lies at the heart of what makes S. Anselm’s so special. A particular highlight is reconnecting with former pupils and fostering links with the Old Anselmian community, where shared memories of school life are warmly celebrated.

As Head of Junior Forms, Louise is known as a dynamic, hardworking and fun-loving teacher and leader. She believes S. Anselm’s empowers children to become confident young learners who are proud of who they are.
