Emma Harrison
Emma began her work in the education sector at age 15, where she managed to get herself elected as a governor for her school in Sheffield. She tells us she was terrified and ‘hadn’t got a clue’ what they were talking about, but didn’t let this stop her.
As her career progressed her company had just one mission: to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Her network of offices across many countries worked with national governments to take over and improve the services for those who needed it most. She has also led on large charitable campaigns – taking responsibility for all the regions of England and Wales in raising £57m for the NSPCC Full Stop campaign.
Emma is a philanthropist, quite a secret one up until now, and was awarded a CBE for her work with unemployed people and charities. She has also won many entrepreneurial and charitable awards in the UK and beyond.
She is overjoyed by the support we’ve received for S. Anselm’s and to improve our local community and the lives of children. She wants to say an enormous thank you for placing your trust in her and for putting up with her noisy “yipppeeees”.
